What the booking pages don’t tell you

Full, or not open yet?

On most hut booking pages, a sold-out night and a night that hasn’t opened look the same. We only call a hut’s season open once we’ve seen a bookable night in it.

One bed, or six?

Most huts don’t publish how many beds are left, so a free night can mean a single bed. When a hut can’t tell us, we say so instead of guessing for your group.

No date online?

Some huts only take bookings by request or email, and some don’t say when they open. We record how each hut books, and when the date isn’t online, we write to the hut and ask.

What HutPass does

HutPass puts every Alta Via 1 hut’s booking system into one itinerary. Plan the route, sign in to save it, then check and watch the nights it needs. You book each night on the hut’s own site.

What it does not do

We don’t book for you or hold beds. Some huts have no online booking at all, and we say so rather than guess.
